Get more out of Microsoft Copilot without the guesswork.
Microsoft Copilot is already inside the tools most SMEs use every day. We help you use it properly, in plain English, so it actually saves you time rather than adding another thing to figure out.
Who it's for.
You use Microsoft 365 for your business, which means you already have access to Copilot or you're about to. You've heard it can save time but you're not sure how to get started, or you've tried it and found it underwhelming because nobody showed you how to use it well. This training is built for SME business owners who want practical results, rather than a product demo.
What we cover.
- How Copilot works inside Word, Outlook, Teams, and Excel, in plain English
- Writing and editing documents faster using Copilot in Word
- Drafting and summarising emails in Outlook without starting from scratch
- Getting meeting summaries and action points automatically in Teams
- Using Copilot in Excel to make sense of data without needing formulas
- How to write prompts that get useful results, and why most people get it wrong
How we work.
- 1-to-1 sessions: a focused two-hour session built around the Microsoft tools you actually use in your business
- Small group workshops: up to six people, online or in person in Inverness, working through the same practical material together
- Follow-up support: two weeks of email access after your session for questions as they come up in real use
What you need to get started.
A Microsoft 365 subscription that includes Copilot, or a plan to get one. If you're not sure whether your current subscription includes it, we can help you work that out before the session.
Who leads the training.
Led by Jill McAlpine. Jill has worked in and around Microsoft tools for years and approaches Copilot training from the perspective of a business owner rather than a technologist. The goal is always practical time savings, rather than feature demonstrations.
